With this rare chance to score your fav products + new arrivals from Sephora, I thought it was the perfect time to share my current go-to makeup products! I get so many questions related to beauty, so hopefully y’all like this post and want to try some of my holy grail products after reading!

Current go-to products in my makeup routine:

Product Breakdown:

Step 1) Moisturizer — I’ve been obsessed with IT Cosmetics “Secret Sauce” !!! I’ve used it for a little over six months and can’t get enough of it (literally, I go through it like crazy). It’s on the pricier end for moisturizer, but TOTALLY worth it. Trust me!!!

Step 2) Priming spray —  After my moisturizer has had time to really sink into my skin, I quickly spray my face with Urban Decay “Rebound Collagen-Infused Complexion” priming spray.

Step 3) Primer — I honestly didn’t believe in primer until I used this stuff. The Marc Jacobs Coconut Face Primer totally changed the game for me. It makes my skin so smooth, creating the perfect base for foundation, but it isn’t mattifying like most primers. I have normal skin, so I tend to stray away from mattifying products, especially in the summer, because I find they tend to be drying since I don’t have oily skin… and I’m all about the ‘natural’ glow. This primer creates the perfect amount of illumination and is a must for my everyday makeup routine now.

Step 4) Foundation — After my primer has set, I put two pumps of IT Cosmetics CC Illumination Cream on a damp makeup sponge and apply the product all over my face. I prefer to dampen my makeup sponge with Mario Badescu Facial Spray instead of wetting it under the sink, but whatever your personal preference is works. Since discovering this product, I haven’t worn actual foundation. Even though it’s a CC cream it gives me the perfect amount of coverage and has with SPF,  great for summer time. I’ll link a few of my fav foundations in case y’all are looking to try!

IT Cosmetics CC Cream, Shade: Medium

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, Shade: Light Beige

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, Shade: Fiji

Step 6) Concealer — Recently I’ve been loving the new Tarte Creaseless Under Eye Concealer, but the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is a holy grail product of mine. I use a damp beautyblender to apply.

Tarte Concealer, Shade: Light Beige

Nars Concealer, Shade: Creme Brulee

Step 7) Setting powder — I set my forehead, nose, chin, and under-eye area with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I’m almost out and will be purchasing the Marc Jacobs Beauty Coconut Setting Powder during the sale to switch it up and try something new! IT Cosmetics Airbrush Perfecting Powder is a great powder to throw in your purse if you have a long day and know you’ll want to touch up at some point!

Step 8) Brows — I’ve been using the Bobbi Brown Brow Pencil for what seems like forever now. Like actually, I can’t even remember when I purchased it because it’s lasted me so long! Probably because I don’t use it often and usually just set my brows in place with a brow gel. Linked two goodies below.

Bobbi Brown Brow Pencil, Shade: Taupe

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel

MILK MAKEUP KUSH Fiber Brow Gel

Step 9) Bronzer — I used the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer for years but I recently picked up the Marc Jacobs Mega Bronzer and I’m loving it! I know for sure late on the bandwagon, but all of his products are amazinggg.

Step 10) Blush — The BECCA “Be A Light” Face Palette  has been perfect for all the traveling I’ve been doing lately. It has two gorgeous face powders, bronzer and blush. The products aren’t  shimmery or glittery, but create a perfect ‘natural’ glow that softly blurs the skin! I’ve also tried all of these (1234) and really like them!

BECCA “Be A Light” Face Palette, Shade: Light to Medium

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush, Shade: Exposed

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, Shade: Mood Exposure

After blush is when I apply highlighter (if I wear any that day). My fav is by BECCA!

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter, Shade: Champagne Pop

Step 11) Eyeshadow — Going along the lines of the ‘natural’ glow look I’ve been loving, this Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Isolde has been the only eyeshadow I’ve reached for this summer! Using frosted ginger on the lid and blending a mixture of frosted ginger + shimmering copper on the crease creates a beautiful bronze smokey eye that looks naturally sunkissed. My other go-to shadows are in the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette. I LOVE the Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow!! It instantly takes your look from basic to glam. Great for GNO’s, night on the town, or events!

Nars Duo Eyeshadow, Shade: Frosted Ginger/Shimmering Copper

Urban Decay Naked3 Palette, Shades: Limit on lid, Nooner in crease

Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow, Shade: Kitten

Step 12) Eyeliner — For liquid liner, I’ve been using the Tarte Liquid Liner ever since I got it as a freebie gift from Sephora in June for my birthday. For pencil liner, I’ve used the Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil for years.

Tarte Liquid Liner, Shade: Black

Urban Decay Eye Pencil, Shade: Perversion or Zero

Step 13) Setting Spray — My makeup feels incomplete without using Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray!

Pro tip: spray before applying mascara!!

Step 14) Mascara — For lift & volume: Hourglass Caution Mascara. An insane, must try: Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara. Since I’m talking about products that can be found at Sephora, I wanted to share a few ‘higher-end’ mascaras…but if you’ve been following my journey for a while then you’ll know my OG’s are L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara + L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara creates a very similar effect that L’Oreal Voluminus does. I blow through mascara quicker than any other makeup product, so I never really venture out and try more expensive options than the two L’Oreal I previously mentioned, but this sale is the perfect time to try something new and splurge a little! If possible, I purchase the travel size before the full sized product to try it out.

Step 15) Lips (most products not sold at Sephora, but thought I would include anyway)

I’ve been obsessed with using a sugar lip scrub + chapstick a few times a week to exfoliate any dead skin, keeping my lips super soft and smooth!

Lip Liner — My go-to lip liners are from MAC and Bobbi Brown. I usually opt. for a mauve pink nude (?) color!

Bobbi Brown Lip Pencil, Shade(s): Ballet Pink and Pale Pink

Marc Jacobs Lip Liner Pencil, Shade: Nude(ist)

MAC Lip Pencil, Shade: Dervish

Lipstick — I seem to always struggle finding the shade of lipstick I want…I have a few shades I really like from MAC, but have been more into gloss as of late. I’ll link the MAC lipsticks (even though they aren’t from Sephora) below. I also linked the only matte/liquid lipstick I’ve ever purchased because I know lots of people are into that. LMK if you have any suggestions you have for a pink-based nude color. Not too pink, but also, not too brown. #complicated

MAC Lipstick, Shade: Twig

MAC Lipstick, Shade: Creme Cup

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick, Shade: Lovecraft

Kylie Lip Kit, Shade: KOKO K

Lip Gloss — I didn’t wear lip gloss for years, but it’s honestly my most used lip product now. Maybe because it’s summer?! It can completely transform a look from dull and crusty, to fresh and glowy! I’ve gone through two of the FENTY BEAUTY Gloss Bomb since it came out. LOVE. It’s a perfect universal lip color. A new fun find was the Marc Jacobs Lip Gloss Stick. Lastly, the Buxum Plumping Lip Polish Gloss is a great product for a little extra plump while still hydrating your lips.
